You "can't beat the view" from the revolving restaurant atop the Reunion Tower at this "big ol' convention hotel" (sure it's a "cliché" but "tourists enjoy it"), and the view from other spots isn't bad either since modernists marvel at the "notable" exterior architecture and the "expansive" atrium lobby; still light-sleepers lament "noise" from the "loud bar" and insist they can "think of 100 reasons" not to stay at this "past its prime" property.

The interior lobby of the hotel was breathtaking when viewed from the glass elevators.
The restaurants were expensive for what you got.
The Hyatt Regency Downtown is an upscale hotel right at the historic Reunion Tower. Friendly staff and clean facilities make it a great place to stay. It can get crowded sometimes as it houses a large conference area. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. ...read more

Skyline view was fabulous. Available with preferred club card.
Hot tub is on outside deck, train near could be a problem for some.
This was really wonderful for my business purposes. It was convenient and very comfortable. I was given my preregistered request. The close Amtrak/Dart train track could be a problem for some, but I found it rather an attraction, once I became accustomed to the noise. Very nice stay.

Tidy.
There were no washcloths, shampoo, soap in the room. The bathroom light did not work. The tub filled up when showering.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. However, for the price, I was a little disappointed that we did not even have soap.
